Lake Alice Residence

Our studio is currently designing a new construction lake home on Lake Alice in northern Wisconsin—a site that holds deep family history. The existing property and its original 1930s cabin have been in the family since the 1960s, serving as a cherished gathering place for multiple generations. Over time, however, age and structural limitations have made it impossible to preserve the original cabin.

In its place, we are creating a new year-round retreat that remains rooted in the memory of what once stood. The new home will follow the original footprint and honor its legacy while offering the comfort, functionality, and craftsmanship expected for modern family living. Thoughtfully designed for lake life, it is envisioned as a warm, enduring place for family to reconnect, enjoy the outdoors, and carry forward long-held traditions for generations to come.
