Lake Alice Residence

Our studio is currently designing a new construction lake home on Lake Alice in northern Wisconsin — a site that holds deep family history. The existing property and its original 1930s cabin have been in the family since the 1960s, serving as a cherished gathering place for multiple generations. Over time, however, age and structural limitations have made preservation no longer possible.

Rising from the same ground, the new home is rooted in the memory of what once stood — designed around the original footprint as a tribute to what came before. It will offer the comfort, functionality, and craftsmanship expected for modern family living. Thoughtfully designed for lake life, it is envisioned as a warm, enduring place where family can reconnect, enjoy the outdoors, and carry long-held traditions forward.
